Senior Accountant Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ & one of their other locations in the Bronx, Peekskill, Queens or Mahopac. Compensation: Up to $150,000 depending on experience. Schedule: This position is full-time onsite. About the company: CFS has partnered with a geothermal and HVAC company located in Ridgefield Park, NJ to help find their new Controller/Accounting Manager. They are growing under the guidance of a parent company and are looking for people who are eager to learn, grow, and roll up their sleeves. Responsibilities: Assist with the daily operations of the accounting department including: Month and year-end closing activities. Accounts payable/receivable. Cash receipts. Payroll and expense reconciliation. Check runs. WIP revenue recognition. Desired Qualifications: 5 years of accounting knowledge. Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance preferred. Experience in NetSuite is a plus. Experience with MS Excel or Google Sheets is a plus. Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
