Accounting SME for Fusion GL, Intercompany & Accounting Hub,
identifying and testing enhancements, defect resolutions and
scheduled updates as well as integrating new and acquired
businesses into Fusion. Ensures operational plans are aligned with
business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy
development. Job Description Core Responsibilities Responsibility
for the Fusion Intercompany Module, including maintenance of rules,
monthly review of transactions and period open/close procedures.
Collaborate with business and Fusion team members in identifying,
tracking and resolving any defects or requested enhancements and
testing quarterly updates, particularly related to integrations, GL
& Intercompany functionality. Collaborate with other teams as part
of any business expansion/divesture activity to ensure minimum
requirements for areas of responsibility are met and businesses are
successfully integrated into Fusion Ensures accurate and timely
reporting and analysis of financial data. Monitors and develops
procedures to accommodate operational and policy changes. Supports
ongoing internal audit inquiries and external audit processes.
Ensures adherence to corporate policies for internal controls.
Evaluates internal controls and operational performance against
industry best practices and advises management on areas of internal
controls and operational improvements. Recommends policies and
procedures to minimize business risk. Stays abreast of legal,
regulatory and policy developments and audit guidelines affecting
areas of responsibility; enforces legal and regulatory requirements
impartially; reviews financial reporting for compliance with GAAP.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in
matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual
attendance. Must be able to work early mornings, nights and
weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other
