Job Description:

Aramark is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager I to oversee the facilities and maintenance operations at one of our esteemed locations. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, high client satisfaction, and a safe environment for all stakeholders. The General Manager I will lead a diverse team, champion Aramarks values, and drive innovative solutions in maintenance and facilities management. Lead and oversee all aspects of facility management including maintenance, custodial, and grounds. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of all operations. Manage contract negotiations, compliance, and relationships with external vendors and service providers. Prepare and manage the annual budget; monitor expenditure, and implement cost controls. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and Aramark’s operational standards. Promote an inclusive workplace and a culture of excellence. Represent Aramark and interact directly with clients, enhancing the client partnership by responding effectively to their needs. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage budgets and financials. Strong problem-solving skills and capability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements. Solid understanding of building systems, maintenance process and health & safety standards. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or similar certification highly desirable. Membership in relevant professional organizations such as IFMA or BOMA is preferable.
