Job Description Equiliem is seeking a local contract nurse RN Oncology for a local contract nursing job in Paramus, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Oncology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 38 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Chemotherapy RN Opportunity in Paramus, NJ 5/8s Days (7a-330p) Prior Experience: Oncology Outpatient Prior Experience for PACU: PACU, med/surg, Interventional radiology, icu, itcu, Chemo: Background in administering chemo, infusion. Experience: IV placement proficiency, access to PICC, Ports, and Central Line The position is a solo RN working with an oncologist Home chemo infusion experience is a plus Perioperative Dept. that manages small chemotherapy/Infusion caseload Common chemotherapeutics/Iron infusions/GI infusions. Avg 2-4 per week. Infusions last 4-6 hours and nurse does own scheduling with patients. Between infusions or slower days RN is asked to assist PACU and perform department paperwork as needed. Some patients are admitted to med-surg floor to continue infusions overnight. IV Certificate required, can be obtained before start Must have BSN Certs: BLS/ACLS Chemo Cert: ONS//ONCC (Chemo immunotherapy cert)
