We are seeking a driven and compassionate Medicaid Specialist to
join our team. As a Medicaid Specialist, you will be responsible
for coordinating Medicaid services for our patients, ensuring that
they receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner.
Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and
ability to navigate complex healthcare systems will be crucial in
this role. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate Medicaid services for
patients, including certification, recertification, and appeals •
Verify patient eligibility for Medicaid benefits • Conduct
insurance verifications and communicate with patients and families
regarding insurance benefits • Maintain accurate and up-to-date
records of patient Medicaid benefits • Collaborate with healthcare
providers and insurance companies to ensure seamless transitions
and care coordination • Provide exceptional customer service to
patients, families, and healthcare providers Requirements: • High
school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field
(e.g. healthcare administration, social work) preferred • Minimum 2
years of experience in healthcare administration, insurance
verification, or a related field • Strong communication and
interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment • Proficiency in Medicaid regulations and policies
