Job Description:
Tender Touch Rehab Services, a leader in rehabilitation therapy,
is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant
to join our dedicated team. This position involves working closely
with Physical Therapists to implement therapeutic plans and provide
exceptional care tailored to individual patient needs in a variety
of healthcare settings. This role is pivotal in helping patients
achieve their maximum potential and ensuring quality outcomes.
Assist in the execution of patient treatment plans as established
by a licensed Physical Therapist. Document patient progress and
communicate relevant information to the treatment team,
contributing to the modification of the therapy plan as needed.
Implement selected components of care and therapeutic interventions
in a technically skilled and safe manner. Educate patients and
their families about treatment plans, exercises, and injury
prevention. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by
complying with facility procedures, rules, and regulations.
Participate in professional development and training sessions to
stay current with the latest practices and technologies in physical
therapy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to
follow and implement detailed therapy plans effectively. Knowledge
of physical therapy principles, theories, methods, and their
application. Physical ability to assist and facilitate patient
mobility and activity. Skill in using physical therapy equipment
and tools. 401k Valid state license or certification as a Physical
Therapist Assistant (as required by state law). CPR/BLS
certification.
