Job Description:
Clover Meadows Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a
dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to
join our team. The CMA will play a crucial role in assisting with
the daily medical and healthcare needs of our residents, ensuring
that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
Working closely with other healthcare professionals, the successful
candidate will deliver patient care services under the guidance of
our nursing staff, contributing to the recovery and comfort of our
community's members. Assist in the examination and treatment of
patients under the direction of a physician or registered nurse
Measure vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and
temperature, and record patient history and health information
Administer medications and injections as directed Prepare treatment
rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean
Assist in managing medical supply inventory and reordering supplies
Provide support to patients in daily activities, including walking,
dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene Collaborate with other
team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care
Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data at all times
Participate in regular staff meetings and continuing education
programs Proficiency in administering injections and performing
routine lab tests Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of patient care and medical terminology High
level of organization and attention to detail Ability to work
efficiently under pressure Knowledge of healthcare safety protocols
and infection control Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an
accredited program Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the
American Heart Association or equivalent
