NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience
working in a pediatric emergency department - Demonstrated level of
performance and practice - ED experience within the past six months
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate
effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of
professional nursing services - Ability to effectively communicate
with patients, families, and healthcare personnel Description: Our
Emergency Department RNs must be ready to care for patients when
they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and
innovative services, ED RNs must handle a variety of emergency
situations for pediatric patients. Emergency Department nurses are
trained in dealing with various trauma situations requiring quick
and decisive actions. Prospective ED RNs must quickly and
accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental
health conditions. They must be able to prioritize injuries and
medical needs accordingly. This position requires working in a
fast-paced, high patient acuity Pediatric Emergency Department. The
Pediatric Emergency Department can see up to 80 patients per day.
RNs will be required to float within the department, including
