Northwell Health’s Division of Nephrology is seeking a BC/BE nephrologist to join its academic faculty at its main campus at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Great Neck, NY . This clinician educator position combines clinical care with teaching responsibilities and optional research opportunities. We are seeking physicians who will thrive in a dynamic and nurturing environment in a program long known for innovation and patient-centered care. The division currently has a faculty of 20 nephrologists and a long-standing fellowship program. Northwell Nephrology is well known for its expertise in clinical research in medical education, POCUS, kidney transplantation, dialysis, anemia and hyperkalemia, outcomes research, COVID-related AKI, onconephrology and glomerular diseases. In addition to its successful general nephrology fellowship, the program also has specialized fellowships in transplantation and glomerular diseases / onconephrology. North Shore University Hospital , located in Manhasset, New York, is an 812-bed teaching hospital that is academically affiliated with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. We provide a comprehensive continuum of inpatient and outpatient services for adults and children, as well as a wide range of specialty and subspecialty residency programs, post-graduate training programs and clinical fellowships. Long Island Jewish Medical Center is a 583-bed teaching hospital located in New Hyde Park, New York that is academically affiliated with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
