Job Description:
Barclays Services Corp. seeks Lead IT Analyst, VP in Whippany,
NJ (multiple positions available): 1. Conduct analysis of major
system enhancements, performance improvements, system productivity
& product adoption. 2. Liaise with Operations, CDO, CTO
organizations in ensuring that the application components are
designed within the defined standards and are in line to meet the
business outcomes. 3. Manage analysis & migration of business
functionality from legacy application flow to strategic
applications. 4. Liaise with the Program/Project Management,
Business Team, and Development team members in delivering the
solution. 5. Perform solution design & review to ensure the
implemented functionality matches the expectations and is in line
with coding standards & business expectations. 6. Design the
strategic IT architecture for real time event processing of trades,
journals, books, and reference data among others. 7. Develop and
maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards & other
solutions to visualize data. 8. Conduct investigations for
strategic benchmarking, business requirements specifications and
feasibility studies to identify improvements to business processes
using technological solutions. 9. Responsible for Functional and
Physical Architecture for Operations Technology Services
applications. 10. May telecommute. Salary / Rate Minimum/yr:
$211,000 per year Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $214,000 per year The
minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base
salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of
compensation or benefits that may be available . This position is
eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral
Program. Purpose of the role To support the organisation, achieve
its strategic objectives by the identification of business
requirements and solutions that address business problems and
opportunities. Accountabilities Identification and analysis of
business problems and client requirements that require change
within the organisation. Development of business requirements that
will address business problems and opportunities. Collaboration
with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their
needs and expectations. Support the creation of business cases that
justify investment in proposed solutions. Conduct feasibility
studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions. Support
the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed
solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Creation of
operational design and process design to ensure that proposed
solutions are delivered within the agreed scope. Support to change
management activities, including development of a traceability
matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented
and embedded in the organisation. Vice President Expectations To
contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make
recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies;
manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous
improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures If
managing a team, they define jobs and responsibilities, planning
for the department’s future needs and operations, counselling
employees on performance and contributing to employee pay
decisions/changes. They may also lead a number of specialists to
influence the operations of a department, in alignment with
strategic as well as tactical priorities, while balancing short and
long term goals and ensuring that budgets and schedules meet
