an experienced Director, Business Applications to join our IT Team.
This position is responsible for oversight of a full range of
activities associated with the company’s Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) systems currently comprised of JD Edwards (JDE)
Enterprise One, DSI MEP (Data System International’s Mobile
Enterprise Platform) and other related solutions. The incumbent is
involved in all planning, analysis, design, development, testing,
implementation and support of solutions. She/he also serves as
primary escalation point for all ERP business applications and is
responsible for issue/problem resolution, maintenance and
enhancement requests and on-time delivery of high-quality
solutions. The incumbent also provides operational and strategic
support and direction to a team of IT employees and consultants
working with the ERP systems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Primary
duties/responsibilities • Collaborates with end users to define and
understand business requirements and translates and documents them
into feasible and testable technical, configuration, and design
specifications; Collaborates cross functionally with team members,
developers, vendors, and systems owners in the planning, design,
development, testing and deployment of new applications and
enhancements to existing applications • Oversees and leads project
management of all system changes including, but not limited to:
accurately predicting cost and time required to complete
development tasks and anticipating changes to specifications or
schedules, as needed while complying with the Management of Change
(MOC) process • Maintains validated state of compliance for systems
and applications as stipulated by their current documentation •
Coordinates user acceptance tests and other required validation
documentation for modified and new systems • Ensures effective
interoperability of services and technologies and assures solution
design alignment within company and regulatory standards, policies
and procedures • Administers JDE by maintaining user accounts,
security, E1 pages, etc. • Monitors/resolves application issues by
working with internal resources, vendors and consultants • Provides
orientation and training to end users for relevant systems, as
needed • Works with all IT personnel to ensure system architecture
consistency; assists in development of vision and strategy for the
expansion of the application portfolio • Manages, coaches and
mentors a small team of Business Analysts Requirements
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED · Bachelors degree and minimum
8 years hands on functional JDE system experience including
configuration, integration, and system support experience in the
pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other highly regulated environment
in positions of increasing leadership and technical responsibility
REQUIRED · Hands on, working knowledge of ERP manufacturing,
finance and supply chain processes REQUIRED · Progressive Project
Management IT experience - managing and/or directing large scale,
multi-functional projects REQUIRED · Excellent understanding of
software development life cycle practices REQUIRED · Ability to
influence without direct authority REQUIRED · Hands on, working
knowledge of Serialization and Quality Management Systems PREFERRED
· People management experience PREFERRED · DSI MEP knowledge and
experience PREFERRED Work Arrangements: We are a HYBRID work
environment requiring local candidates to be able to work majority
of week in our NJ office. Anticipated salary range : $220 to
$255K/yr. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of
candidate’s education and experience level relative to requirements
of the position and a review of related industry standards and
internal equity. Additional benefits : In addition to base salary,
full-time employees are also eligible for incentives, including,
