their most critical workloads to AWS? Join the Migration &
Modernization Specialists team for Automotive and Manufacturing
within the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) as a Senior
Migration & Modernization Specialist BD - a senior individual
contributor role requiring deep expertise in storage, application
modernization, and infrastructure migration including data center
exits. The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS
Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), responsible for
driving revenue and accelerating adoption across enterprise
customers. We work backwards from our customers' most complex
migration challenges to develop and execute go-to-market plans that
transform legacy infrastructure into modern, cloud-native
architectures. As part of WWSO, you will contribute across the full
lifecycle of AWS customer migration initiatives—from initial
assessment to post-migration optimization. Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will translate customer infrastructure challenges
into comprehensive migration strategies leveraging AWS. You will
define, design, and execute large-scale migration architectures
that accelerate adoption of AWS services across storage,
applications, and infrastructure domains. You will engage with
business leaders, architects, infrastructure leaders, and
executives at strategic enterprise customers to influence migration
decisions and provide structured feedback to AWS product teams. As
the ideal candidate, you bring deep expertise in enterprise
migrations and the business acumen required to lead complex data
center exit programs with large enterprises. You have extensive
experience with storage migration strategies, application
modernization patterns, VMware migrations, database migrations, and
infrastructure-as-code approaches. You are able to credibly advise
senior technical and executive stakeholders on migration
trade-offs, risks, and long-term optimization strategies. Key job
responsibilities - Lead complex migration problem solving to
unblock customers' most critical data center exit and modernization
initiatives - Design and execute migration strategies for storage
systems (including AWS Backup, FSx, EFS, S3), application workloads
(including VMware, Microsoft workloads, containerization), and
infrastructure (including network, security, and compute) -
Represent the voice of the customer and collaborate with field and
central teams to bring migration feedback to product teams - Act as
a thought leader in Migration & Modernization by sharing best
practices through AWS blogs, whitepapers, migration patterns, and
public speaking engagements such as AWS Summits and AWS re:Invent -
Partner with AWS Migration Competency Partners and ISVs to deliver
comprehensive migration solutions A day in the life Your day will

nothing we can’t achieve. - 5 years of working with Enterprise
Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including,
but not limited to, Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud
Operations experience - Bachelor's degree - 10 years of experience
driving business development, strategic partnerships, and
go-to-market initiatives across the infrastructure and applications
space - Strong track record of designing and leading large-scale
migration programs including data center exits - Experience
orchestrating diverse teams including customer stakeholders, sales
teams and leadership, architects, strategic pricing teams,
service-aligned support teams, and consulting/implementation
partners - Technical fluency in enterprise infrastructure,
migration strategies, and cloud technologies (storage,
applications, databases, infrastructure) - Conceptual understanding
of migration patterns including storage migration, application
modernization, VMware migrations, and database migrations -
Experience with migration assessment methodologies and business
case development - Experience working with AWS Migration Competency
Partners and systems integrators - AWS certifications preferred
(Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate/Professional,
Migration specialty) - Knowledge of AWS migration services and
approaches: Application Migration Service (MGN), Database Migration
Service (DMS), DataSync, Storage Gateway, AWS Backup, Migration Hub

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
