Conduct thorough case investigations to determine the validity of each claim. Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to ensure that clients receive the maximum compensation they are entitled to. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments in a compelling manner to achieve favorable outcomes. Maintain open and frequent communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their case and answering any questions they may have. Stay updated on developments in personal injury law and participate in continuing legal education opportunities. Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Current license to practice law in New York. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Trial Attorney. Proven track record of successfully handling personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, truck accidents, slip and fall incidents, catastrophic injuries, dog bites, and premises liability. Excellent negotiation and litigation skills. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations and apply them to specific cases. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
