Job Description Job Description Busy workers' compensation firm
seeking to hire an experienced attorney who will attend remote
hearings, prepare appeals and rebuttals, prepare claimants for
trials, conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, conduct file
reviews, and give guidance to paralegals and legal assistants in
order to properly handle claims. This is an in office position.
Applicant must have a minimum of 4 years of NYS Workers'
Compensation experience as an attorney; Applicant must be able to
multitask; Applicant must feel comfortable handling a busy calendar
and depositions; Applicant must be comfortable using a computer and
computer programs; Applicant must be organized; Applicant must work
well under deadlines; and Applicant must have the ability to work
independently.
